The seats we had on July 1st were 2nd row in the arena  - stage left. I avoided floor seats in case of trouble. At that time Brown usually had a dozen or so people toward the front of the stage so they would lead a charge forward when he did his signature "please, please, please" at the end of the show. This exciting "spontaneous" expression of appreciation was just short of an uncontrollable situation. He dropped that part of the show's script when it did in fact result in crowd control problems.

I attended the concert (which had the same opening acts you list) with my high school sweetheart - she was 14 and I was 15. We dated through college, meandered through life as friends, and got married two years ago.
